How much mentorship costs and what about refunds?
How much do your services cost and how do I pay for them?
The weekly price is mentioned in each mentor’s profile. By each week we mean 7 consecutive days from the moment the subscription’s started. You can’t pay for less than a week. If you need help for a short term, consultations are more suitable for you. You can pay for from one to four weeks at a time. As you can see on the website, we also offer a monthly subscription. What are payment methods?
You can pay with Visa, MasterCard or American Express as well as virtual cards issued by some services. If you don’t have a credit card, you can pay with PayPal or a direct bank transfer. Contact us via the support form and we’ll help you with payment.
Why are the prices in euro? Can I pay with any other currency?
The prices are in euro since mkdev is a de jure German company. But you can pay with a bank card in any other currency. The currency will be automatically converted according to the exchange rate of your bank. There will be no problems.
Do you guarantee the security of payment?
The payment is done via Stripe, a very popular international system, with its corresponding security. We can guarantee you that we’re not going to walk off into the sunset with your money.
How many lessons a week do I pay for?
There is no fixed amount of lessons or hours in your paid week. The time spent on studies every week varies due to your own needs and on what you’ve agreed with your mentor. More about it in the section about the schedule.
Your services are rather pricey. Can I get a discount?
Firstly, you can save money if you pay for several weeks at a time. The more weeks you pay for, the cheaper the price of one week is. The mentor raised the price during the studies. What should I do?
It happens. Don’t worry, you can continue studying at the starting price. We will give you a promo code which allows you to have the same price you had before. Contact us if you want to renew your subscription and don’t have a code yet.
I changed my mind and don’t want to study anymore. What should I do?
Before subscribing, think a little and decide how serious you are about it. Learning programming takes a lot of patience, self-management, time and attention. If you doubt that you have skills or are not sure that our format suits your needs, you can pay for one week just to give it a try. I don’t like my mentor. What should I do?
If you’re not happy with the studies or your mentor, or were happy, but something went wrong, don’t hesitate to contact our support team. We might regulate the mentor’s work, offer you another one or do something else. We try to do everything it takes so that your studies are effective and your time and money aren’t wasted.
Your format doesn’t suit my needs. Can I get a refund?
Mentorship doesn’t suit everybody, courses or private lessons are better for some. If you’ve looked through the section about how mentorship works but still are not sure that it suits your purposes, you can pay for one week just to give it a try. Even if at
When do you do refunds?
There’s only one case when we do it. After you’ve paid, you immediately get your mentor’s contact info. But you need to get acquainted and discuss all the details first. Only after that your mentor can manually start the subscription period you’ve paid for. If during the period when the mentor hasn’t done it yet you suddenly realize that’s something’s wrong and this mentor is not for you, we’ll do a refund.
